8 things to do near PNC Park

PNC Park is a baseball park located at the North Shore of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was built in 2001 and has been home to the Pittsburgh Pirates since then. Here are eight things to do near PNC Park:

1)  Visit the Andy Warhol Museum: This museum houses one of the largest collections of original works by Andy Warhol outside New York City and includes some 13,000 artwork spanning his entire career as an artist. 

2) Attend a music concert at Stage AE: With a capacity for 6,500 people in a standing room, the Stage AE is an excellent place for hosting Pittsburgh’s most iconic bands. Attend a music concert of your favorite artist and have a fantastic time dancing to your favorite tunes.

3 ) Take your family out for dinner at Katoi, one of Pittsburgh’s hottest restaurants. Also, consider stopping by Primanti Bros., an iconic sandwich shop where all sandwiches come with French fries on them.

4) Visit Point State Park- This public space is located at 601 Commonwealth Place and features a scenic overlook with views of Downtown Pittsburgh, the Monongahela River, and Ohio River Valley.

5) Take your family for dinner at Katoi, one of Pittsburgh’s hottest restaurants. Afterward, visit the Children’s Museum, where your little ones can have fun with a variety of hands-on exhibits and workshops.

6) Get your toes painted at Chocolate Bar. This place is all about chocolate, of course. From flavored drinks to dipping sticks and handmade truffles, there’s something for everyone here.  

7) Head over to Mattress Factory museum and take a tour through their contemporary art exhibits from regional artists that use media such as drawing, painting, photography, film/video, and more.

8) If you’re looking for a unique shopping experience, then head over to The North Shore Antiques Market. You’ll find furniture, lamps, and many other types of antiques here.
